The KTV Pro 75 puts out a very decent 75 lumens in its daytime flash mode and its large lens offers an impressive 270 degrees of visibility. A great use for this is when alternating between steep climbs and descents. While climbing, you'll be traveling at a much slower speed, so it's a great time to conserve battery with the lower setting. When you reach the top and start to descend at a higher speed, you can hit the button once, and switch to the highest output of the light without having to search through all the flashing modes.

The button has an LED beneath it which moves from green to red through amber, allowing you to keep an eye on how much juice you have left, and a full recharge will take between four and five hours depending on where the power is coming from. When it's time to top up, the unit is USB rechargeable via a rubber covered flap at the rear, and a full charge takes around four hours.

Boost is still plenty bright enough to see where you are going on wide main roads with cats-eyes and the like, plus the Enduro will, too, at a push. The modes of the two lights can be customized when paired with our free Lezyne LED Ally phone app. During a ride, toggling through the modes of the front light will also wirelessly change the modes of the taillight. In practice, I found that plugging the light into a laptop meant I had to bend it awkwardly or dangle it vulnerably over the edge of a desk whilst inserting into a wall mounted version meant the second USB port (which I wanted to use for the front beam) was covered.
