A number of you have asked me what difference there is between the two, so I thought I would address that. The Beauty Blender Pro simply and professionally applies your bronzers, self-tanners and longwear make up!Durability is slightly tricky in that the black version feels a bit more fragile than the pink one, which feels sturdier in my hands. For this reason, your beautyblender may shed dye for the first couple of washes—similar to a pair of blue jeans. I love both of these as far as application is concerned, but I would say that Black is da deal where powder foundations are concerned. The large, rounded surface area ensures a quick application while the contoured tip offers precision. This allows the sponge to be “full” so that the makeup product sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed, allowing you to use less product every time.
